Privacy Policy

1. What We Store

Your resume content, saved resume library, saved interview prep sets, and Pass status are stored locally in your browser's storage (localStorage) — not on our servers, and not tied to an account, because Rezumz does not currently have user accounts. Clearing your browser data will delete this information from your device; we do not retain a copy.

2. What Passes Through Our Servers

  • AI requests: when you use an AI feature (generate, rewrite, interview prep, etc.), the relevant resume/job-description text is sent to our server and forwarded to Anthropic's API to produce a response. It is not stored after the request completes.
  • Uploaded resume files: when you upload a PDF/DOCX/TXT to parse, the file is processed on our server to extract text and is not saved to disk or a database afterward.
  • Payments: payment processing is handled by Dodo Payments. We do not see or store your card details. We receive a license key and payment confirmation used to grant access.

3. Third-Party Processors

We use Anthropic (AI processing) and Dodo Payments (payment processing) as sub-processors. Each has its own privacy policy governing data they process on our behalf.

4. Cookies & Tracking

Rezumz does not currently use third-party advertising trackers. [Update this section if/when analytics tooling is added.]

5. Your Choices

Because your data lives in your browser, you control it directly — you can export a backup or delete everything at any time via Settings, or by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.

6. Children's Privacy

Rezumz is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves (e.g., if accounts or analytics are added). Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
